Refining your feed for relevant articles

There are a few actions that help us optimize your research reading feed so that it becomes more relevant for you.

  • Like articles that seem relevant to you, to see more such similar articles in your feed.
  • Save interesting articles that you want to revisit later so you can refer to it in detail.
  • Hide irrelevant articles to avoid them showing up in your research reading feed.
  • Update your topics of interest to further refine recommendations. This can be done at any point by clicking the option on the top right-hand side of your feed.

Finding articles of interest from your feed

Each article on the Literature Recommender comes with a tag that explains why it has been recommended – Just Published, Relevant for your topics, Relevant for a specific topic, etc. These tags help you identify open access articles too as you scan through your research reading feed.

Click on any article of interest to see a Quick View of its abstract, which will help you decide if reading the full-text version is worth your time. You can choose to read the article immediately or save it for later from the Quick View screen itself.
