Webinar on Ethical use of AI in Academic Grant Applications

ethical use of AI in academic grant applications

Generative AI has quickly become a key part of the toolkit for anyone involved in creative tasks around text, images, data, and even video. It is not surprising, therefore, to learn that researchers are pushing the limits of what GPT4 can achieve by using it to prepare grant applications. Whilst this is not illegal in any sense (at least at time of writing!), we need to tread carefully in terms of ethics and accuracy to prevent flooding the grant application system with 100s of sub-par proposals which may end up doing your reputation more harm than good.

In this webinar on ethical use of AI in academic grant applications, we take a look at how GPT-4 in particular, can be used in the grant application process.
