R Discovery October Updates: Read With No Interruptions

Here are some exciting updates from R Discovery in October that will improve your reading experience.

Read relevant research – without any interruptions

New Explore screen
New Home Screen

Your app’s interface has been redesigned to help you read more of what matters to you.

The home page now shows you an unbroken stream of best matches from your topics! As you scroll down your feed, you will see relevant details about each article to help you decide whether you should read it right away, save it for later, or provide feedback to the algorithm to show you more (or fewer) such articles.

Your old home page with its tangential recommendations, full-text reads, latest articles from your selected journals, search history is still available on the “Explore” screen, accessible from the bottom navigation bar.

The bottom navigation bar appears consistently on the app, helping you navigate with ease so you can reach important screens with just one click.

Learn how to access the app’s new features in seconds

Your app wears a new look! We’ve introduced coach marks to call your attention to the new features and their benefits. Do spare a few seconds and complete the tour.

But first, update your app to the latest version!

Find related topics with ease when onboarding

To assist new users as they select their topics while onboarding, the app now recommends other topics that are closely related to the ones they have selected. This makes their search easier and helps ensure they don’t miss any topics that might interest them.

If you have an account on R Discovery but are still to select your topics, give this a try 😊

To access these and other features, make sure you have the latest version of the app.

We would love to hear your feedback and any suggestions on what you’d like for us to work on. You can either write to us if you have any ideas to share, or choose your preferred time to talk to us.
