Step 1:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Go to Apple App Store or Google Play Store.<\/p>\n

Type in “R Discovery” in the search bar.<\/p>\n

Download the app.<\/p>\n

Step 2:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Open the app once it is downloaded.<\/p>\n

Tap on “Get started.”<\/p>\n

Step 3:<\/strong><\/p>\n

R Discovery will ask you to choose among two options:<\/p>\n

1. If you want to stay updated on your research area.<\/p>\n

2. If you want to follow specific journals.<\/p>\n

Select either one. You can come back and change it later if you wish.<\/p>\n

Step 4:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Once you’ve selected your field of research, R Discovery will ask about your sub-field(s).<\/p>\n

Select any sub-field(s) that are relevant to your work.<\/p>\n

Step 5:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Finally, R Discovery will ask you to select the topics most relevant to your research work\/field.<\/p>\n

Step 6:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Once you’ve selected your research field, sub-field, and topics, R Discovery will ask you to create a free account.<\/p>\n

Step 7:<\/strong><\/p>\n

After you sign in, R Discovery will create a “reading feed” for you. This will be a list of latest articles curated according to your preferences.<\/p>\n

If at any time you want to change your preferences, you can do this by clicking on the menu button (three bars) in the top-left corner.<\/p>\n

Step 8:<\/strong><\/p>\n

In the user-friendly menu, you can choose to add or change your preferred research topics and journals.<\/p>\n

If you want to add more topics to your field, you can choose from R Discovery’s suggestions.<\/p>\n

You can also look up topics using the search bar at the bottom on your screen.<\/p>\n

Similarly, you can also add the most relevant journals as suggested by R Discovery.<\/p>\n

Also, you can look up a specific journal using the search bar at the bottom.<\/p>\n

Here Mushtaq is looking up the “Journal of Postcolonial Writing” to add to his feed.<\/p>\n

Step 12:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Once you add a journal(s), the latest articles from that journal(s) will start showing up in your feed.<\/p>\n

Now you can read the abstracts of articles in your feed.<\/p>\n

You can also add them to your library.<\/p>\n

To do so, tap on the bookmark button in the bottom-right corner of an entry.<\/p>\n

You can also export the articles in your library to Zotero or Mendeley.<\/p>\n

To do so, tap on the “Export” button.<\/p>\n
