However, an effective literature search can be both a time- and effort-intensive process. And unless the research article you need is open access, you will require permission to view full-text research articles, which depends on whether your institution has subscribed to the content. Getting this confirmation can take you on a disappointing journey of login screens and requests for passwords. As a result, researchers often find themselves wasting time and energy in simply trying to access content. In their frustration, they may choose an illicitly obtained and potentially out of date copy of the articles they need, which could impact their research. R Discovery will then ask you to add your institution\u2019s name so it can check whether the full text research article is available through an institutional subscription. Once confirmed, the next step for researchers is to authenticate access via your institution credentials and you\u2019re done! You\u2019re now a single tap away from accessing all the full-text research articles that are available to you via your institution.
